[ENDED] Special exhibition "Olympic vision. Olympic posters through the ages"

Olympic posters have held an important place throughout the history of the Games. The first official posters quickly became an integral part of Olympic marketing. During the 20th century, poster design evolved, incorporating new artistic styles and technologies, allowing for the creation of visual masterpieces that captured the unique spirit of the Olympic Games.

The special exhibition in the Sports Museum's basement, "Olympic Vision. Olympic Posters Through the Ages," covers all the Summer Olympics held so far, highlighting the role of Olympic posters in both promoting the Games and shaping their visual identity.

What makes the exhibition special is that, through the posters, it is possible to observe changes in the world of sports, as well as in the cultural and political context, which have shaped the identity of the Olympics for over a century. Visitors can explore the official posters of all the Summer Olympics and learn about their creation. The special exhibition was designed using environmentally friendly materials as much as possible.

All the posters displayed at the exhibition are available for purchase at the Sports Museum store.
