How to find us?
It's easy! We are located in the centre of Tartu, so you can't really miss us!
On foot
The easiest way to reach us is by taking a little walk from the city hall square. Locate Rüütli street from there and walk about 5 minutes forward almost until the church. And there we are, on the right side of the street!
By bike
You can easily reach us by bike! On your way to us, you can enjoy the beautiful views of the old town of Tartu, and when you arrive, you can park your bike in the (unguarded) bicycle racks in front of the museum.
In addition, next to our building there is also a cycle point for the bicycle circulation of the city of Tartu. City bike parking lots and other details can be found HERE!Public transportation
The nearest bus stops to the museum are Raekoja plats, Palmihoone, Vabadussild and Lai.
By car
The closest parking spots are on Magasini or Munga street. Keep in mind that on weekdays 8:00-19:00 and on Saturday 11:00-17:00 there is a parking fee of 3€/h! The best way to pay for parking is to send a SMS to number 1902 with license plate number and region (for example "123ABC A" for region A that is around the museum). If you want to stop the parking, call 1903.
